Visa Spend Clarity for Enterprise simplifies the complexity of expense management, providing easy-to-use spend controls, innovative mobile and virtual payment solutions and detailed, streamlined reporting, to help medium to large businesses organize expenses, accelerate efficiency, mitigate risks, optimize cashflow, achieve spend visibility and control, and drive compliance.What a Technical Product Manager does at Visa:Technical Product Management (TPM) is a complimentary form of product management with talent typically having a stronger technical background, and a clear focus & remit on working closely with their development & engineering colleagues to deliver product outcomes.The role has different accountabilities and different talent attributes to that of a Product Manager but sits firmly within the product management organization. Generally, a TPM works within one Product domain and has a deep understanding of the product capabilities of that domain but also a general understanding of the product capabilities across the entire Spend Clarity Enterprise product suite. They work in close collaboration with Senior Technical Product Managers (STPMs) and Product Directors to understand the product strategy, market drivers and business goals and then execute the roadmap for the product domain. The TPM role is to champion & be the voice of "why" and "what" in inward phases of product development, from design to delivery within daily engineering dialogue.They are accountable for feature and product outcomes in alignment with product strategy, value proposition & client/market needs. They are responsible for understanding what is valuable to the business, and what is feasible from development perspective, facilitating the requirement definition and working closely with the engineering colleagues to prioritise and plan the development work. While not accountable for delivery team operations, the TPM does monitor delivery progress and will actively communicate risks to Product Management leadership & Engineering leadership where necessary. The Technical Product Manager will also be involved in review/curation of any release notes and other Product documentation relevant to their Product domains.Why this is important to Visa:The role of Technical Product Manager is a key member of the Spend Clarity for Enterprise Product team, responsible for delivering the features that help evolve the product to be a market leading and compelling solution to ensure the success of the product in market. The role is an integral part of the collaboration between product and engineering teams to ensure the features delivered are fit for purpose and meet the business objectives.Projects you will be a part of:The TPM is an integral role within SCE Product Management and will make a significant contribution to growing the capabilities of Visa Spend Clarity Enterprise to deliver scalable and robust solutions to more clients and users around the world. Visa Spend Clarity Enterprise is a key focus area within Visa Commercial Solutions with large growth ambitions driven by client needs and a desire to innovate using modern cloud technologies.You will thrive in being at the interface between product & technology whilst driving product outcomes in your value stream.This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.5+ years' experience in Fintech software product developmentExperience in working in agile environments, with excellent understanding of modern product development and design processesExperience in working in cross functional and empowered teamsAble to understand and clearly articulate the vision, strategy and business requirements of any items in the product backlogTechnical competence to be able to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders (e.g., architects, UX designers and development teams)Experience leading Product demos with internal stakeholdersFacilitation skills, with the ability to conduct effective workshops and meetingsExperience in Fintech, cards, payments, and/or corporate accounting practices is preferredAbility to work in a highly collaborative fashion with internal technical stakeholders to drive successful product outcomesExperience managing external client/stakeholder relationshipsAble to be productive with prototyping, and data analytics toolsA confident and engaging communication styleDeep understanding and empathy of client needs and commercial driversAbility to influence and lead people and teamsWhat Will Help:Passion for Enterprise Products: The candidate will show genuine interest and enthusiasm for working on large-scale enterprise products and embrace the complexity and large user base these products serve.Stakeholder/Customer Relationship Management: The candidate will expertly manage end-to-end relationships with customers and stakeholders from a product perspective, adeptly managing expectations and delivering outcomes, both positive and otherwise.Product Practice Expertise: The candidate will proficiently conduct research, competitive analysis, and define product metrics. They will effectively communicate the product vision and strategy to stakeholders, bringing the team along on the journey.Toolkit Proficiency: The candidate will skillfully utilize a product toolkit to help teams understand and engage with the customer journey. This includes persona development, journey mapping, prototyping, research and testing, and story mapping.Experience with Full Product Lifecycle: The candidate will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding and experience of the product lifecycle, from ideation through launch, and post-launch reflection and validation.Strategic and Technical Thinking: The candidate will combine strategic thinking with the ability to delve into technical details when necessary. They will have a strong record of defining and implementing product strategies that align with business objectives and customer needs.Visa is an EEO Employer.
