The position supports the implementation of an innovative digital platform, The Access Platform (TAP), as part of our peer-to-peer recruitment strategy, which will lead to increased international enrolments in our pathway programmes.
Student Ambassador represents UP Education through its online channels. The role is to create and share content about the ambassador's personal experience as a student and provide information to prospective students through The Access Platform app. As an ambassador, the role involves being a representative of UP Education from any location, all via mobile phone. This should result in 2 to 5 hours of work per week which is tracked automatically by the TAP application based on activities.
About you Current or previous NZTC studentExcellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour.Ability to create engaging digital content (photos and videos).A proactive approach to problem-solving and helping others.What the role entails: Work closely with UP Education marketing and sales team to support international applicants and offer holders through their student journey.Provide relevant information to applicants via the App or refer applicants to UP Education services and resources where applicable.Good working knowledge of UP Education to assist applicants efficiently.Support new students by actively monitoring student inquiries and providing information until students are enrolled.Maintain a profile on the NZTC website where prospective students can identify appropriate ambassadors to approach for assistance.Create engaging text and visual content to be shared through marketing channels such as the NZTC website and social media platforms.Answer frequently asked questions to build up student-generated content on the NZTC website.Be available for relevant training to be completed regarding the app and with the sales team.Identify opportunities/risks to recruitment emerging from interactions with students and report them to your manager.Represent NZTC and work towards the continual improvement of the international student experience.Responses are to be made efficiently within 12 to 24 hours or as agreed with the manager.To Apply: Questions about your identity help us appreciate the diversity of individuals looking to work at UP Education, ensuring we're attracting applications from people with identities and perspectives that are as diverse as our students.
