NZ Qualified and Registered or Montessori Trained Teacher Full time, Fixed term, Start Date: 10/11/2024, End Date: 27/06/2025 (Maternity Cover) Dreamers Nest Montessori Early Learning Centre is located in the peaceful Orewa. We are a group of mature and dedicated teachers working collaboratively to provide quality care and education for children. We are committed to providing endless support and learning opportunities for teachers to widen their knowledge and experiences. Time and space are generously given for exploration, with a clear focus on excellence in quality of education. We also sponsor our teachers for Montessori training with an internally recognized qualification. We offer discounted childcare for our permanent teachers and have opted in for Extended Pay Parity. Our team is 100% qualified and 60% Montessori trained, with a premium ratio across all age groups, regular NC for learning stories, and planning. Our team has been together since the centre was established in June 2022, and we take care to support each other for growth. An experienced management team is onsite every day to provide support and mentorship as needed. One of our teachers is taking some time off to welcome her second child into the world later this year, so we are looking for a NZ qualified and registered teacher or a Montessori trained teacher to join our team while she is away. This is a fixed-term full-time (35 hours minimum) maternity cover role; however, as the number of children grows, we aim to officially open our last classroom mid-next year, so this can turn into a permanent job.
