Senior School Teacher Aide (English Language Department)

In this role you will be working alongside our teachers to support, inspire and guide our students who have learning differences. We need a person who is well versed in literacy processes and teaching practices and who is a team player with a flexible approach. The ability to build strong, positive relationships with students and colleagues is vital. In addition, our ideal candidate will have:
A good knowledge of literacy and teaching approaches to literacyAn ability to interpret assessment material and teaching resources to ensure positive academic outcomesStrong organisational and time management skillsProfessional judgement and diplomacy, along with confidentiality.We offer students a dual pathway with NCEA and International Baccalaureate. This is a fixed term role, school term only for 8 hours per week. You will be working on Mondays and Tuesdays between 8.30am and 12.55pm.
