The Senior Product Manager reports to the Chief Operating Officer and will play a pivotal role in the development and execution of our customer-centric product strategy delivering exceptional experiences and growth for the Avanti Finance Group.
As we embark on a period of significant growth, the Senior Product Manager will be responsible for delivering to strategy by ensuring that the full product portfolio is embraced, managed effectively, and collaboratively engaged with across the business.
The role represents an opportunity to build out a strong, sustainable and innovative product capability across the business.
As Senior Product Manager, you can expect to: Advocate for customer needs, engage stakeholders with clear communication, collaborate with teams to enhance a product's value.
Monitor and report on product performance, iterate products based on market feedback, manage development timelines.
Analyse the market and competitive landscape to identify scope for product differentiation and opportunities.
Enhance our product and pricing function working to uplift capability across the team and the broader business.
We are looking for candidates who have: 8+ years' experience in the product space with experience in consumer lending (mortgage, auto, personal lending and commercial products preferred).
Knowledge of lending origination platforms, lending assessment processes and the NZ or AU legislative landscape would be advantageous.
Ability to think strategically, embrace change and the opportunity change presents, with an adaptable mindset.
Experience in presenting recommendations and facilitating sessions with key stakeholders to drive outcomes.
Be masterful at multi-tasking and keeping pace in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Excellent work ethic and self-motivated, with interests in ongoing personal development.
Advanced presentation skills to convey key information and outcomes to key stakeholders.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to constructively manage difficult conversations when needed.
