Product Management & Development (Information & Communication Technology) Full time The Role Due to exciting growth, JAVLN is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team. As Senior Product Manager, you'll be responsible for executing our product strategy working closely with the Chief Product Officer and our talented JAVLN team as we expand our SaaS platform internationally. This is a fast-paced role, aligning and growing both our insurance platform functional capabilities and SaaS delivery model. You'll need to be comfortable working with multiple teams and shifting focuses, prioritising your workload and enabling our business to flourish by: Ensuring the vision, strategy and roadmap is well understood by the business and our efforts are focused on delivering on these. Working with internal stakeholders, prospects and clients to scope and define solutions for new functionality, features and integrations in line with our product vision, strategy & roadmap. Working with our client-facing teams to identify challenges that slow our ability to implement at pace and/or deliver great client outcomes and contribute to overcoming these challenges. Working with our Sales & Marketing team to understand the market needs and opportunities across the Insurtech landscape. You'll be passionate about continually looking for ways to improve our product, to deliver operational efficiencies and great user experiences. As an action-oriented, innovative and inspiring leader, you will provide clear focus and direction for our product & technology teams, ensuring that our focuses are aligned with JAVLN's strategy ensuring we are positioned for long-term success with responsibilities including: Guiding solution design of our product and SaaS platform to deliver a solution that offers the best user experience to our diverse client base and supports our global growth ambitions. Creating and/or reviewing product design and solution options, providing input on approach, documentation, use cases and test cases for the JAVLN product lines. Providing relevant metrics and reporting to executive & other key stakeholders to assist in the improvement of customer experience, software quality and maintainability. Engaging with the wider JAVLN team keeping them informed of new product developments to keep our people up to date with the latest product features and functionality. Presenting & showcasing our product strategy & vision internally & externally (at conferences etc). Sharing your knowledge & experience to implement processes which will support our goal to deliver a world-class product. You also play a significant role as a People Leader, driving high employee engagement throughout your teams, and coaching and directing our product team members to build sustainable, high-quality software products which create delightful experiences for our clients. As a result, you'll be shaping the future of our product to support JAVLN's growth plans, whilst working with a great team of people, passionate about delivering world-class software to our valued clients. You should apply for this role if you have many, or most of the following: Demonstrated capability leading a complex product roadmap that balances short-term opportunities with longer-term strategic activities. Demonstrated experience managing a complex stakeholder group and leading through influence rather than authority. A keen interest in understanding the software you are designing, knowing how it works, what it achieves and why our customers benefit from it. Experience presenting strategy & vision to stakeholders to ensure they understand the business & technology direction & goals. Experience working with development teams in an agile development environment. Experience engaging with customers to validate product ideas (including usability research and idea validation). A solid understanding of agile principles of development. At least 5 years of product management experience with the delivery of SaaS applications. Confidence to make the right (and the hard) product calls. Comfortable undertaking business travel as and when required. Knowledge of the insurance industry, practices and compliance is beneficial, but not essential if you are comfortable learning.
