SADD - Programme Delivery Lead- South Island Do you believe in empowering young Kiwi's to lead change in their communities?

Do you believe in working together with other community organisations who are all trying to achieve the same thing - prevent loss on our roads?
This is your opportunity to join SADD as a Programme Delivery Lead, working directly with passionate young leaders, secondary schools, youth organisations and community partners.
You will be tasked with delivering the SADD programme in the South Island secondary schools and youth organisations by facilitating new and existing student-led groups, building new relationships, and maintaining community connections in an effective, impactful, and sustainable way.
We are looking for a team player who is approachable and flexible, has an affinity for youth, and who has the following qualities:
Experience working with young people and an understanding of youth issues
Ability to inspire change
Ability to think outside the box and problem solve
A positive, enthusiastic and motivated mindset
Proactive, persistent, and confident in establishing new connections
The ability to be creative and try new ways to engage rangatahi
Exceptional relationship building and communication skills
An understanding and appreciation for Tikanga Maori
Experience in facilitation and public speaking
Flexibility and availability to travel when required
Full, clean drivers licence and safe driving values is essential
Experience is desirable but not essential. SADD is looking for someone who can connect quickly and clearly with rangatahi. We are looking for the right person to join our positive and enthusiastic team. If you can carry your enthusiasm and ability to work around problems into the youth environment - then we want to hear from you.
This role will be based in Christchurch or other locations in South Island will be considered for the right candidate, working with schools, youth organisations and community partners across the South Island, starting early October 2024. If this sounds like you then apply now!
