What you'll be doing Maximize the value of the product and the increments delivered by the engineering team.
Applying sound product management discipline to highly technical and complex solutions.
Develop a deep understanding of our business, product portfolio, and the competition.
Drive engagement and cohesion across teams, stakeholders, leadership, and decision-makers.
Discover insights and opportunities that lead to outcomes that benefit both the customer and the business.
Create high quality product backlog items including themes, epics, and user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
Own the prioritisation of the product backlog whilst maintaining alignment with the product roadmap, strategy, and organizational goals.
Tighten product feedback loops, define MVP, and analyse customer feedback and product usage data.
Make day-to-day product or requirements-related decisions.
Inspire the team to do their best work by clearly communicating the value of the work being done.
What you'll be working on Our industry leading cloud practice management software: Dentrix Ascend Innovative solutions for simple and reliable customer onboarding, data conversions, and customer support of Dentrix Ascend.
Make it extremely easy for customers to move to and start using Dentrix Ascend.
Your skills and experience You have solid experience in product ownership and management of advanced technology solutions used in highly complex domains.
You have at least 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in software development.
You have solid experience in stakeholder management and the ability to drive decisions and product direction.
You have strong thought leadership skills.
You can make informed decisions and take calculated risks through data analysis and alignment with the product strategy.
You have the proven ability to figure out solutions to complex problems with many constraints, use sound judgement to assess risks, and lay out your argument in a well-structured and data-informed narrative.
You have extensive experience with the full product lifecycle - from ideation to launch, and continuing to iterate, innovate and deliver value.
You have excellent communication and presentation skills.
You explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical teams.
You have a strong sense of urgency.
You are comfortable in putting pressure on yourself and your team for timely results.
You have the proven ability to work with ambiguity, uncertainty, and constantly evolving situations.
You have the proven ability to say 'no' and focus on the most important outcomes to achieve.
