The Opportunity: Support the Commercial team with negotiation for bids/ RFPs, all contract matters and company secretarial matters for Gentrack entities internationally. Support the Commercial team to represent the commercial and corporate interests of Gentrack, based on a clear understanding of the company's contractual relationships, obligations and wider business drivers. The Specifics: Build a baseline understanding of the Utilities and Airports markets and the products and services we offer. Support the Commercial team to draft changes to contracts terms. Support the Senior Legal Counsel (NZ) / Commercial Manager (NZ), Commercial Manager (AU) and Company Secretary in the establishment and maintenance of Commercial policy and produce relevant and workable procedures and processes. Support the negotiation of supply contracts (third parties, outsourcing). Provide support to the Senior Legal Counsel (NZ) / Commercial Manager (NZ), Senior Legal Counsel (AU) / Commercial Manager (AU) and Company Secretary on a wide range of commercial, corporate and company secretarial issues as they arise in the Utilities and Airports businesses. Liaise with external Legal advisors and suppliers as and when required. Help/ coordinate and attend meetings across other geographies as required. Assist in the management of contracts across the Utilities and Airports businesses. Provide a shared services function to the wider Commercial team. Provide ad-hoc support to the Company Secretary with NZX/ASX market announcements. Manage company secretarial filings for all Gentrack entities internationally, working with Gentrack's agents in each country. Some important characteristics we are looking for: Legal Executive qualification or Law Degree Evidence of commercial, corporate and company secretarial training High levels of drive and a proven ability to get things done Strong interpersonal skills Evidence of good legal document drafting skills and attention to detail Self-starter attitude with a willingness to learn Experience with NZX/ASX market announcement platform is desirable but not a requirement What we offer in return: Personal growth – in leadership, commercial acumen and technical excellence.
