Te aheinga: The opportunity As a Lecturer in Bridging Education, you will provide quality educational outcomes in literacy and numeracy and enhance student support and success. Bridgepoint's Kaupapa is to 'create pathways to success' for all our students. Our role is to provide our students with access and opportunity to develop authentic learning pathways that staircase them into higher education and employment.
This is a casual role.
Responsibilities: An understanding or desire to learn te reo Maori, tikanga Maori, and the values and practices of kaupapa MaoriEvidence of active engagement in building diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplaces/environmentsExperience in teaching students in the tertiary/secondary sectorExperience in leading tutor professional development in working with Neurodiverse LearnersStrong student-centred focus with an interest in working with neurodiverse learnersExperience in developing innovative and contextualised programs or coursesA positive and flexible approach to problem-solving in the work environmentTeam player with a positive can-do attitude and a willingness to collaborateKnowledge of relevant software packages, Microsoft Office/ Moodle, and a willingness to learn new technologyA reflective practitioner committed to continuous improvement and growthTono mai: How to Apply To be considered for this position, applicants must be a NZ Citizen or NZ Permanent Resident.
