Coroners Court Case Manager Auckland Permanent, Full Time Position Te Haeata / The Opportunity As a Coroners Court Case Manager, you will be based in Auckland.
You will be responsible for co-ordinating all matters referred to the coroner.
On occasion, there may be times when you are called upon to assist with other matters and other coroners outside Auckland.
Some travel may be required on occasion.
You will need to hold a full New Zealand Drivers Licence.
This is a challenging and interesting role that will allow you to utilise your administrative experience, people and relationship management skills to a high level and be part of the team that provides New Zealanders with a first-class Coronial Service.
Key Responsibilities: Gathering all inquiry information and reports both physical and electronic and presenting the information to the coroner concisely.
Case management of large volumes of electronic files (while keeping a physical file).
Maintaining our electronic database (CMS) to be up to date, complete and accurate.
Liaising and providing information to stakeholders and Government Agencies, including Interested parties, Police, Medical practitioners, Pathologists, and others.
Contributing to monitoring and reporting on the Coroners Court activities.
Arranging and supporting your Coroner to conduct a preliminary hearing or court take an inquest.
You will have strong interpersonal skills that will support your work with the coroners and also be capable of dealing with distraught family members in sensitive circumstances.
An ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds is essential.
You will be expected to provide excellent and highly organised case management support to our coroners and build and maintain excellent relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

To be successful in this role you will: Be able to handle accessing and viewing graphic coronial material.
Have strong relationship management and communication skills, both internally and externally, as you will be dealing with incredibly delicate information.
Have an understanding and appreciation of cultural issues and concerns, particularly Tikanga Maori.
Be highly organised, able to prioritise and multitask in an autonomous manner.
Have a strong understanding of the MS Office Suite.

Utu a-tau / Salary Salary Range: The appointing salary for this role will be between $65,066 and $90,008 based on skills and experience.
