We have an opportunity for a Compliance Manager to join a top performing line 2 risk team at ASB Bank.
Do you have previous experience and knowledge of obligations management and compliance?
This is a progressive and collaborative team with an inclusive culture which will support you on your career journey.
This is a permanent role based at ASB North Wharf offering hybrid working.
This role will see you act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to the business to ensure prudential & licensing requirements are understood, well embedded, and met through a robust control environment.
Key Responsibilities: An understanding of key pieces of legislation and regulatory requirements including RBNZ Act, FMC Act, and underlying licenses.
Experience in obligations management and compliance risk management and the ability to advise on best practice.
Previous experience in financial services and an awareness of the regulatory landscape and upcoming regulatory change.
Strong stakeholder management and the ability to provide effective review and challenge.
The desire to take ownership and accountability for delivering outcomes.
Ability to work collaboratively with the Compliance team and support colleagues in delivering on priorities.
Adaptability and the ability to re-prioritise work when significant matters arise.
Strong planning, time management and multi-tasking skills.
