We are looking for someone who is: Passionate about youth initiatives.Experienced in researching best practiceAn excellent report writer and communicator with strong interpersonal skillsFlexible and adaptable to changing circumstances.Friendly and approachable, with a good sense of humour.About the Role: As the Youth Initiatives Officer, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing innovative programs that connect and empower youth in our community.
Your primary focus will be to engage with young people, gather their feedback, and collaborate with local organizations to enhance youth services.
Your efforts will directly contribute to the delivery of high-quality services to young people in the Whanganui District.
Key Responsibilities: Identify and understand all relevant local and national reports specific to young peopleFacilitate hui / meetings with key partners / organisationsActively network with key stakeholdersDevelop a report with recommendations to inform decision making processesThis fixed term, part time position (12 hours per week) is based at our office at 179 St Hill Street.
