The successful candidate will join a supportive and collaborative teaching environment located in Dargaville, Northland.
Key responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons for Y7 & 8 students
Create a family-like learning context within your classroom
Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback, feedforward and support.
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and wellbeing
Participate in school activities, events, and professional development programmes.
Requirements:
New Zealand teaching qualification and current registration.
Experience teaching in a primary school setting, particularly with Y7 & 8 students.
Strong understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum and effective teaching practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Commitment to ongoing professional development.
