Our Auckland base client is looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team and support the day-to-day running and operations of the business.

Responsibilities include:• Fabricating various security products - we are looking for someone with the skills and initiative to complete design and fabrication to the All Steel Security quality and standard.• Development and design of new products - our ideal candidate will have plenty of initiative and drive, as well as input into development, continuous improvement and 'best practice' ways-of-working.• Site work relating to projects and installation of products, customer facing
• Problem solving, both in the workshop and during installs
The successful candidate will:• Have at least 2+ years minimum in mild steel engineering and fabrication.• Be competent in Mild steel Mig (gas and gasless) welding fabrication skills
• Aluminium, stainless steel Tig welding skills are an advantage but not essential.• Be a safe operator of all standard workshop machinery (drill press, bandsaw, lathe, plasma cutter, etc.).• Demonstrate the ability and desire to work within a team as well as individually with minimum supervision.• Be a great team player with a positive attitude and show a willingness to learn and share knowledge.• Have excellent time management skills and be able to meet set targets.• A good command of the English language is essential.• Demonstrate an excellent attitude towards Health and Safety and prioritise the safety and wellbeing of themselves and others.Benefits:• Competitive remuneration.• Interesting and rewarding work.• Great team environment.• On the job learning with a focus on development and upskilling.• A secure role in a high-demand industry.This role holds significant potential for the right candidate to develop professionally and grow with the business.
