As a Website Design and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of website creation, from initial concept through to deployment and maintenance. You will work closely with our team to design user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing websites that not only meet business requirements but also enhance the overall user experience. Your role will encompass both the creative design aspects and the technical development work, ensuring that the final product is both beautiful and functional.
Key Responsibilities:
Independently manage the full website design and development process from start to finish. Create and implement website designs that are aligned with business branding and objectives. Develop responsive, mobile-friendly websites using the latest web technologies. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project goals and translate them into effective design and development strategies. Write clean, well-organised code following industry best practices. Implement content management systems (CMS) for easy content updates and management. Optimize websites for performance, including load speed, SEO, and overall user experience. Ensure website security, including implementing necessary data protection measures. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during and after development. Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in web design and development.
Requirements:

Proven experience in both website design and development with a portfolio showcasing completed projects. Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design frameworks. Experience with back-end development using languages like PHP, Python, or Ruby. Strong design skills with experience in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) or Figma. Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and best practices. Experience with content management systems like WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla. Knowledge of SEO principles and techniques. Proficiency in version control systems like Git. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
