We are looking for a Graphic Designer/Marketing Assistant to join our team. This role will be responsible for creating visually engaging designs and marketing materials that enhance our brand presence and effectively communicate our message across various platforms. The ideal candidate has strong graphic design skills, a keen eye for detail, and proficiency in design software to create visually impactful marketing materials, is driven, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. We are a start-up, so no job is too big or too small for any of our team.
This role is a part-time role with the potential to go into a full-time role, starting from 2-3 days a week from our Auckland central-based studio. This position requires working on Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 9:00 am-5 pm. (or 3 Full Weekdays) What your day-to-day could look like: Studio Assistance & Product Knowledge - Helping with stock handling, order dispatching, returns and customer service. Dive deep into the world of Bare and get familiar with our products, branding, values and our customers. Brand Development - Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and maintain a consistent brand identity across all visual materials, ensuring alignment with the overall brand strategy. Graphics Design - Design and produce marketing material including social media posts, EDMs, website content, paid ads, print & packaging that meets marketing campaign objectives. Marketing Campaign Strategy Development - Attend brainstorming sessions to identify our weekly/monthly/quarterly marketing campaigns, promotional rhythm, marketing trends & opportunities. Email & SMS Marketing - Plan and execute email & SMS marketing strategies that align with overall marketing goals and drive customer engagement and conversion. Set up and manage automated email workflows, such as welcome series, cart abandonment, and re-engagement campaigns to maximise customer retention and sales. PR & Influencer - Identify and engage with relevant influencers and content creators to create strong partnerships that enhance brand reach and credibility. Who we are looking for:
• Someone who LOVES FASHION, a passion for everything social media, jewellery, fashion trends, pop culture and a solid understanding of the platform's features and analytics.
• A Degree in Graphic Design/Communications
• Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Canva
• Proficient in social media marketing material design, Website design, print, Meta ads/paid digital ads graphics design, multimedia design
• Experience working within Marketing, or designing for marketing teams is a great plus
• Excellent in communicating, is open to feedback and positively impacts the team around them
• Approaches problems with curiosity, humility and excitement to learn and grow your skills.
• Creative problem-solver who can iterate quickly from initial concepts through to beautiful high-quality designs that meet our marketing objectives
• Is organised, responsible & honest
• No task is too big or too small for you. Even though this role is design/marketing focused, you are willing to help with other aspects of the business such as admin, dispatching orders and customer service - we're still a startup after all!
• A Mac User (Apple system)
• Is able to work 3 full weekdays in person at our Auckland CBD Office
