This newly created role will enable you to mentor the team to embed best practice project management principles, while managing the delivery of a range of milestone projects including rolling out a new city-wide roadside waste & recycling collection process, and planning the future Spicer landfill.You will:Maintain oversight of all major projects within the Waste teamPlan, manage and deliver key capital projectsImplement and embed best practice project management processes across the teamProvide subject matter expertise across the team and wider organisation as requiredAbout youYou'll be a guru in project management and enjoy sharing your knowledge by mentoring others and building overall capability in the team and wider organisation.You'll need to show us that you:have significant project management experience in delivering large capital projectshave strong leadership and coaching skillshave the ability to manage a diverse and flexible work programmehave excellent influencing and relationship skills with external partnerswill foster meaningful and positive working relationshipshave a collaborative approach in all that you dohold a recognised project management qualification (e.g. Prince 2 practitioner or similar)Come and join our revitalised Waste team and be part of our welcoming and engaging environment.
