A bit about Wardrobe
This is a great role to meet people from around the business. Get to know and become familiar with our Restaurant Chefs, Hotel Porters, Security Officers and Gaming Team to name a few! Being a 24/7 operation, each day you could be the first or last person to make a difference to their day at SkyCity so a friendly and positive personality goes a long way in this role.
The role:
We have over 2,500 employees across the business, many of whom require a uniform for their job. Your role will be to ensure they have their uniform freshly laundered and ready to go for the start of their shift! This will involve collecting their uniforms at the end of the shift and ensuring it is cleaned in time for their next one. The Wardrobe department runs on organisation and order so you'll need to have all hands on deck to ensure everything is managed in a timely manner.
You:
You'll obviously need to be super organised and adaptable to ensure each uniform is in the right department slot and also be comfortable using computer systems. You'll be an energetic and customer focused, friendly person and you'll also need to be physically active - being on your feet for your entire shift is no easy feat!
The Must Haves:
Be flexible to work on demand including Graveyard/night Shifts
Sew up a storm or maybe just a button - (Sewing skills preferred)
