Chinese Cuisine Chef

ZT Shanghai in Auckland. We are now looking for multiple Chinese cuisine chefs to join us. This is a full-time role that requires at least 30 hours per week. This role is to plan and organise the preparation and cooking of food to support our business operation.   Tasks include: · Working with the manager to plan our Chinese cuisine menus, · Estimating food and labour costs and ordering food supplies · Monitoring the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation · Discuss food preparation issues with Managers and kitchen staff. · Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures for high standard Chinese cuisine · Preparing and cooking · Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations · Working with the manager for staff selection and training   The successful candidate must have · A relevant qualification (equivalent to NZ Diploma) OR at least three years of relevant experience. · Good work attitude and good communication skills · Strong motivation · Physical fitness and could handle the heavy workload · Quality workmanship and eye for detail · Strong dedication to health and workplace safety · Excellent interpersonal skills to work with other team members. · Strong ability to work independently
