The role | Te mahiAs the Visual Merchandising Manager, you'll lead our merchandising vision across Target Furniture's stores, driving compelling, customer-focused displays that bring our brand to life.
Working closely with store managers, the product team, and other departments, you'll develop creative, on-brand visual concepts, craft store layouts, and curate displays that inspire customers and maximise sales.
Your work will help set our stores apart, creating an environment that invites shoppers in and encourages them to stay.
Key responsibilities include coordinating store setups and refits, crafting visually appealing displays for promotions, managing budgets for visual merchandising elements, and collaborating with multiple teams to maintain our store standards.
This role requires regular travel across New Zealand to support our stores and ensure brand consistency nationwide.
This full-time role is based in Auckland, with flexibility to travel as required.
About you | O pumanawaTo be successful in this role, you'll need solid experience in visual merchandising and be a creative, detail-focused team player.
Additionally, you will: • Bring experience in setting up visually engaging displays that align with brand goals and customer preferences.
• Have strong skills in visual merchandising software (e.g., Visio or similar) and the MS Office Suite, with the ability to quickly learn and work across our in-house VM platforms.
• Be skilled in managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and staying within budget.
• Be adept at communicating with various teams and providing training for in-store Visual Merchandising Champions.
• Be knowledgeable about current industry trends and able to innovate visually.
• Have a flexible schedule to work outside typical hours when necessary for store setups.
