International College of Auckland (ICA) offers a range of programs across different disciplines including Engineering, IT, and English. ICA is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Marketing Manager to join our team. As the Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in promoting ICA programs, providing support to students, monitoring progress and attendance, and ensuring the successful enrolment and induction of new students, ensuring compliance with the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) regulations, and promoting ICA through various marketing initiatives. This role will require extensive travel across New Zealand and overseas.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Recruitment: Develop and implement effective marketing strategies.
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in various markets.
Collaborate with agents and partners to enhance student recruitment efforts.

Student Support: Provide comprehensive support services to students, ensuring their successful integration into the college community.
Address the needs and challenges faced by students, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

Compliance and Code of Practice: Adhere to NZQA regulations, the Education Code of Practice, and other relevant guidelines in all recruitment activities.
Ensure all marketing materials and activities align with the regulatory requirements.

Digital Marketing and Multimedia Production: Utilize digital marketing strategies to enhance online presence and engagement, including social media marketing, email marketing, and search engine optimization (SEO).
Create, edit, and publish engaging videos, testimonials, and other multimedia content to showcase the unique offerings of ICA.
Proactively identify opportunities for innovative digital marketing campaigns to attract prospective students.

Marketing and Promotions: Organize and participate in promotional events, campaigns, and exhibitions to raise awareness about ICA.
Develop and execute marketing initiatives tailored to different markets.
Manage social media platforms and online presence to engage with prospective students effectively.

Agent Management and Quality Management System (QMS): Implement and maintain a Quality Management System related to agent management and student recruitment.
Foster strong relationships with agents and partners, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.

Sales and Marketing: Drive sales through persuasive communication and relationship-building skills.
Utilize sales techniques to convert prospective students into enrolled students.

Proactive Approach: Take a proactive approach to identify and pursue new opportunities for student recruitment and marketing initiatives.
Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices to inform marketing strategies.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (desired but not compulsory).
Previous experience in digital marketing, video editing, and multimedia production.
Proven experience in marketing management within the education or international student recruitment sector for a minimum of 3 years.
In-depth understanding of the different markets landscape, cultural nuances, and educational trends.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, in English.
Ability to multitask, work independently, and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and the use of marketing tools and platforms.
Passionate, goal-oriented, and self-driven individual with a demonstrated commitment to achieving targets.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations and practices.
