We are collaborating with a leading e-commerce platform to enhance their product presence in New Zealand and Australia. Our goal is to create high-quality visual content for a variety of products, ranging from outdoor garden tools to indoor home furnishings and fashion apparel. The ideal candidates will be responsible for creating visually appealing advertisements, managing the end-to-end shooting process, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality content in collaboration with our team in China for post-production. About the role The role at our place consists of: Develop and execute creative concepts for product shoots Capture high-quality images of products in outdoor and indoor settings Direct and photograph models wearing fashion apparel, focusing on static images that highlight the product's features Liaise with the team in China to understand specific shooting requirements Write and revise scripts based on business feedbacks and prepare detailed shooting plans Procure necessary samples, props, and arrange for models' schedules Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the shoot, including lighting, set design, and prop placement Manage and direct multiple roles and staff on set to ensure smooth execution Send sample shots to the team for review and feedback Collaborate with the post-production team to ensure the final product meets the required standards About you We are seeking versatile and creative individuals who can take on the role of videographer/director for our e-commerce product shoots. To be successful in this role, you need to have: A bachelor's degree or above in a related field, such as video making, directing, communication, media Or relevant 3-year experience in directing/photography of social media content to substitute the required qualification Experience in managing short video and product shoot projects is preferred Strong sense of fashion and colour, with unique ideas for photography lighting and product styling Familiar with the use of DSLR, Canon 5D3, 5D4, Sony, Nikon D850, D780, DJI Drones, Mavic Air 2S, Phantom 4 Pro V2.0, and other shooting equipment Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team Quick-thinking, detail-oriented, and responsible Experience in planning and organizing shoots and managing project timelines Overseas experience and a good understanding of foreign aesthetic preferences are preferred Strong artistic foundation and creative thinking skills Familiarity with photography, lighting, set design, and prop styling Proficiency in post-production software for editing, colour grading, and image processing, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Photoshop Pay and working hours: We offer $30 - $35 per hour for suitable candidate, based on 30 hours' work per week.
