Valet, Service & Retail Supervisor

Poolside North Shore is an industry leading and rapidly expanding company based in Rosedale, Auckland.
We take care of all aspects of pool and spa treatment, servicing and maintenance.
Our sister company Ultimate Pools installs self cleaning fibreglass swimming pools.
We are currently seeking a full time Valet, Service & Retail Supervisor to work in our store in Albany.
The ideal applicant will have some pool industry experience, but full training can be given to the right candidate.
The staff member in this position will primarily be responsible for coordinating our team or service and valet crew, taking job bookings, delegating tasks and ensuring our crew are working in an efficient manner while providing an amazing customer experience.
They will also work alongside our Retail Manager to provide support, so front of house experience and customer service skills are a bonus.
The successful applicant for this position will ideally; Have a proven track record working in a supervisory environment with excellent service skills.
Build a rapport with clients giving advice and assistance to maintain their pools to high standard.
Be experienced in stock control and inventory management and be responsible for timely ordering of stock to meet seasonal requirements.
Will have the maturity to lead and work well within the team and supervise staff members to encourage them to work to the best of their abilities.
Be punctual, reliable and have good time management skills.
Show initiative and enhance the service environment using online media, supporting current marketing programmers and industry developments.
Maintain a clean and well presented office, store and facilities for staff.
Be responsible for the upkeep of our Health and Safety program and other complying with regulatory acts and requirements.
Work well under pressure and be able to meet the demands of our peak season while effectively maintaining profitability in the quiet months due to the seasonal nature of our business.
Be prepared to undergo further training and undertake personal development.
Have an in-depth understanding of our product range and work closely with representatives from our suppliers to promote their products to the best of their ability.
The swimming pool industry is growing fast in NZ and this is an excellent career path opportunity for a driven individual.
Full training can be given to the right candidate with the desire to grow.
This role will be predominantly Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4.00pm but longer hours may be required from time to time.
Weekend work to cover sick leave and annual leave of colleagues may also be required
