We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Supervisor to join our Technical Services team based in Christchurch.Reporting to the Regional Manager, the focus of this role will be to manage the productivity and safety performance of the transport fleet.Key ResponsibilitiesLeading a team of 10 driversCoordinating drivers to ensure customer expectations are metRegularly reviewing routesLiaising with the workshop suppliers on planned maintenanceCommunicating with internal stakeholders such as Sales, Despatch and Customer Service to ensure that any issues are identified and solved quicklyQualificationsCritical to your success will be your demonstrated leadership experience in managing people. With high-quality standards and strong time management skills, you will be a safety and transport focused individual who is able to lead, influence and engage others to foster a positive continuous improvement culture.
