About the role | Ko te mahi nei

The role of the Customer Experience Training Advisor within the Recreation, Sports and Events Unit has the responsibility for onboarding, supporting and developing our Customer Experience Team to enable the delivery of world-class service. You will be responsible for design, implementation and continuous improvement of training programmes for the Customer Experience Team and providing training assistance for unit wide project implementations as and when required.

Duties also include:

Analyse, design, develop, implement and evaluate training programmes to meet the needs of the business for both kaimahi onboarding, system changes and project implementations

Ensure training courses are designed and delivered using best practice adult learning principles

Provide advice and support to Managers and Team Leaders to ensure unit training plans are implemented and are effective in supporting and developing kaimahi

Actively maintain up to date knowledge of business systems, policies and procedures ensuring training programmes are aligned and accurate.

Maintenance and development of Standard Operating Procedures for the Customer Experience Team

Ensuring customer service standards and the delivery of a branded customer experience that is actively engaging, inspires confidence and a can-do attitude is integrated into all training packages.

Being a role model for our shared values who provides direction, empowers, motivates and develops others in order to achieve business unit, group and organisational goals.

About you | Ko Koe Tenei

We're looking for a Training Advisor with a passion for service excellence, you will also have:

Significant experience in training design and delivery of adult learning

Excellent literacy and computer skills.

You'll have an eye for detail and a passion for customer service and continuous improvement.

Previous experience in dealing with people from a wide variety of cultures, nationalities, social diversity and demographics is desirable.

Hours of work: Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week.

Position: Fixed-term for 12 months.

Starting: We're looking for someone to ideally start with us by 6th January 2025.

Location: This position will be based at one of our Recreation & Sports facilities (specific facility to be agreed).

Salary: The salary band for this position goes from $78,464 to $87,182 per annum based on a 40 hour week.
