Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on prepress designing of organization's products and processes.
Provide hands-on training on the use of design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Teach best practices for preparing files for print, including colour management, image resolution, and file formatting as per the SOP defined by the organization.
Conduct regular quizzes and assessments to gauge the effectiveness of the training and make necessary adjustments.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in prepress technology and incorporate them into the training curriculum.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to the design team.
What we require (Desired Skills and Abilities)
Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Education, or a related field.
Proven experience as a trainer in prepress design will give advantage. If not, then one should be willing to learn designing concepts and provide training.
Strong knowledge of design software and prepress processes.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to adapt training methods to suit different learning styles.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
Experience:
2 years and above
Output Requirement:
The trainer should develop a comprehensive training curriculum that covers all aspects of existing product design processes. This should be regularly updated to incorporate the latest processes in the department.
The trainer should conduct regular training sessions, ensuring that all members of the graphic design team understand and can effectively apply prepress design principles.
Post-training, the trainer should assess the skills of the team members and provide detailed reports on their performance. This will help identify areas of improvement and measure the effectiveness of the training.
The trainer should provide ongoing support to the team members, helping them troubleshoot any issues they may encounter in their work.
Ultimately, the main output requirement would be an improvement in the quality of designs produced by the team. This could be measured by fewer errors in the prepress stage, faster turnaround times, and positive feedback from clients.
Trainer will provide clearance to the team members upon successful completion of the training program.
