Technology teacher - engineering We are a semi-rural secondary school only 35 minutes northwest of the Auckland CBD, situated in Helensville, and recognise the mana whenua of the South Kaipara, Ngati Whatua o Kaipara. At Kaipara College we aim to provide support for every student to navigate to success.
The faculty of technology is seeking a culturally responsive, collaborative, inclusive and restorative engineering teacher to join us. The position is suitable for a passionate teacher who has a commitment to universal design for learning, culturally sustaining pedagogy, and a willingness to work collaboratively with other teachers. They will be confident in delivering Y11 to 13 metal/engineering based technology and Y9 and 10 materials technology.
Our school purpose is to teach our rangatahi so they all reach their potential and are able to take their place as curious, connected, and contributing citizens in their community, Aotearoa New Zealand, and the world. We are guided by our school values of Whanaungatanga, Aroha, Kaitiakitanga and Angitutanga.
Successful candidates will need to be registered teachers in New Zealand.
The successful candidate will commence with on 28 January 2025.
