Play a key role in maintaining the performance, reliability, and capacity of our infrastructure systems, driving efficiency and innovation across our platform services.About the RoleAs a Technical Specialist - Platforms, you will independently manage mid-level platform responsibilities, ensuring the smooth operation of our compute, storage, virtualization, operating systems, core infrastructure services (AD, DNS), monitoring and tooling, and infrastructure systems. Reporting to the Platform Technical Manager, you will handle system configurations, resolve incidents, and contribute to the success of infrastructure projects. Your hands-on expertise in platform services and commitment to resource optimization will help drive performance and improve the quality of service through automation. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.About YouYou are a skilled Technical Specialist with 2-5 years of experience in platform services or system administration. Your expertise in virtualization, storage management, compute services, monitoring and alerting, and continuous improvement sets you apart. You are proactive in resolving platform incidents and managing system resources, and you take ownership of platform improvements and optimizations. If you have a VMware Certified Professional (VCP), a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or equivalent certification, you'll stand out even more. Exposure to large enterprise environments and tools like ServiceNow and ADO will give you an edge in this role.To set you up for success you'll have the following:2-5 years of experience in platform services or system administration.Hands-on experience with virtualization, storage management, and compute services.Preferred certification such as MCP or VMware Certified Professional (VCP).Ideally have familiarity with large enterprise environments and tools like ServiceNow and ADO.Knowledge of MS SQL and Linux advantageous.ImpactIn this role, you will be at the forefront of maintaining our infrastructure's reliability and performance. By resolving platform incidents, managing storage capacity, and contributing to infrastructure projects, you will help ensure that our systems operate efficiently and support the business's broader goals.
