HOURS: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
SALARY: between £40,000 and £46,500 dependant on experience
LOCATION: Our offices are located in the centre of Christchurch, next to the high street shops, with Christchurch Quay a 10-minute walk away and only five minutes from the railway station. Please note the company is operating a hybrid working policy and is open to home working.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual, who is experienced in server networking, troubleshooting, and project management/implementation. You will be an important member of the Technical team and your work will empower the Sales team and the wider company to achieve our goals and showcase our expertise.

Hybrid working – initially the successful candidate will be expected in the office five days a week until we are satisfied they have the skills to succeed and then we will move to two days in the office and three days working from home per week model

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
Build and maintain relationships with key customer and software partners to support our message of excellence
Work with the sales team to accurately scope the technical requirements for customer delivery
Provide software demonstrations to existing customers and new prospects to assist sales with closing opportunities
Assisting prospects with installation and configuration of software proof of concept systems
Installation, configuration, and upgrade of software on customer servers, documenting the delivery and outcome
Responsible for delivering Managed Service requests and maintaining SLA's
Providing 1st and 2nd line helpdesk technical support when required, to ensure that our customers are always receiving an optimal MFT experience
Writing technical articles for internal distribution, blog posts to share with customers and contribute to internal technical training materials
Creating Statement of Work and Job sheets for Professional Services engagements
Continuous upskilling in the usage and support of core products through self-lead or guided learning
Management of Professional Services bookings with clients
Capturing information relating to more complicated issues for third line support
Providing internal office IT support to the team where required
Making sure our demo systems running in our hosting platforms are working as expected
Installation of demo software on servers
Management of licences in our demo suite
Responsible for maintaining the internal asset management and software register
Ensure that our customers stay up to date with the latest software releases from our suppliers
Capture learning from support tickets and our suppliers into the internal knowledge base
Continued self-learning and guided training on our software products and associated infrastructure
Any other ad hoc duties as required
WHAT SKILLS WILL YOU NEED?
Experience with project planning and implementation
Experience working with Microsoft servers (Linux nice to have)
Experience working with NAT and Firewalls to allow access to server services from internal and external locations
Experience working in an office/small service-based business
Experience managing Microsoft 365
Experience with common network infrastructure devices
Excellent verbal and written communication, with an eye for detail
Willingness to listen and then ask relevant questions to help diagnose technical and application issues
Organised and able to prioritise
Customer oriented and calm under pressure
Ability to follow process
