Te Whare O Matairangi is our acute adult mental health inpatient recovery unit, situated onsite at Wellington Regional Hospital and provides treatment and care for adults that require an inpatient stay. In this position you will lead a skilled multi-disciplinary team of approximately 90 full time equivalent staff including nurses, support workers, medical staff, allied health, cultural workers and administrators dedicated to providing the best possible outcomes for tangata whaiora and their whanau.We offer a great team environment, a well-resourced inpatient unit, and are supportive of professional development. We strive to create a positive work environment with balanced and safe workloads.As well as being a mental health professional the ideal candidate will have previous experience in mental health and addiction leadership.
