Supervisors/Team Leaders (Call Centre & Customer Service) Full time We are looking for a dynamic Manager to head up our Porirua branch. Here's how you'll make an impact: Leadership and Team Management: Lead, motivate, and support an experienced team of Customer Service Consultants to deliver results and exceed expectations. Staff Development: Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and ongoing mentoring to help the team grow and perform at their best. Customer Resolution: Tackle challenging customer service situations and complex cases escalated by the team. Loan Approvals: Oversee and evaluate loan applications, reviewing them for compliance and making sound lending decisions for the branch. Operational Management: Manage the daily operations of the branch, optimising efficiency and productivity. Financial Management: Reconcile and apply customer payments, manage cash handling procedures, and oversee daily loan processing, working with the team to resolve any discrepancies. Risk Management: Escalate serious customer complaints or operational risks to senior management while mitigating risks at the branch level. Compliance and Accountability: Ensure the team follows company policies and procedures to meet regulatory obligations. Customer Service: Build strong, authentic relationships with customers, assist with loan applications, assess collateral, make lending decisions, and prepare contracts. Account Management: Manage and monitor customer portfolios, guiding your team to effectively manage accounts and minimise defaults. WHAT YOU'LL BRING: A passion for delivering outstanding service while motivating your team to excel. Previous supervisory or leadership experience —industry-specific knowledge isn't essential. Experience in complex customer service roles , with a knack for tackling challenges head-on. A hands-on approach to leadership , leading by example. The ability to build genuine connections with people from all walks of life . Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style for different audiences. Confidence with numbers and a tech-savvy mindset. First-class organisation skills , with the ability to prioritise and switch between tasks. A high-energy, team-first attitude . WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: You will be contracted to work between 37 - 45 hours per week (Monday – Saturday), currently rostered for 37 hours .
