About the role
This is a full-time Team Leader - Food Production role at Fleur Foods, based in Tauriko, Bay of Plenty. In this key position, you will lead and inspire a team of food production employees to ensure the efficient and effective operations of our manufacturing facility.
What you'll be doing
Manage and supervise a team of food production employees to meet daily production targets and quality standards
Assembling a production lines of mechanical equipment including battering, crumbing, and frying equipment.
Dissembling and cleaning of all equipment used for the days production
Plan, delegate and coordinate work activities to optimise productivity and efficiency
Provide on-the-job training, coaching and support to team members to develop their skills and capabilities
Monitor and report on team and individual performance, addressing any issues or concerns promptly
Ensure all production processes and activities adhere to relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement effective solutions
Foster a positive, collaborative team culture and promote a safe, inclusive work environment
What we're looking for
Proven experience in a similar team leader or supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment
Strong knowledge of food production processes, quality control and health and safety regulations
Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a team
Ability to think critically, solve problems and make sound decisions
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to upholding quality and safety standards
Proficient in using production management software and other relevant technology
