Description Our conference/function service and breakfast are busy and a major focus. As a result, you will work daily with our Conference and Events Manager, tailoring offers (menus and pricing) to convert leads into business.
You will also delight our customers with constant new dishes and specials to drive guest satisfaction and sales, especially for the dinner service.
The ideal candidate will have a previous hotel experience of at least 2 years and a minimum of 3 years as a Head Chef in a high-volume establishment.
As the Head Chef here, you will have excellent leadership skills, be highly organized, and have strong delegation skills.
You will be up to date with modern culinary trends for A la Carte & Conference menus, delivering a consistent product plate after plate, day after day.
You will be financially savvy with the ability to manage food costs, budgets, forecasts, and monthly stocktakes.
You will drive compliance schedules through training and recordings to meet food hygiene regulations and follow industry standards.
We are looking for not only a culinary passionate but a skilled and calm communicator to inspire our guests and teams.
This is a full-time salary position offering between $63K and $67K pa, subject to experience.
We are an Accredited Employer: we can hire visa holders.
