Are you open to finding new ways of working? In this leadership role you can really have a positive impact and add value to our regulatory teams.
Porirua's changing. Thanks to new housing developments, large scale regeneration projects and new transport links, it's rapidly growing into a diverse, well-connected city with big opportunities. With all that in mind, Porirua City Council continues to develop a resilient, liveable city for future generations.
The Business Support team provides administrative and customer service support to our busy Building Assurance and Resource Consents Teams. As the Team Leader of Business Support you'll provide guidance and development to the team to continue to provide a high quality customer focused service.
You will seek out process improvements and implement changes to improve efficiencies while maintaining customer focused systems. You will enjoy working with a range of systems and applications and become a subject matter expert to assist with testing and training the team.
You'll be organised, driven and engaging with your team and customers. You'll have an analytical mind with great problem-solving skills, as well as being an excellent communicator. Most importantly, applying the customer lens will come naturally to you and you will be well versed at creating excellent customer experiences.
This is an opportunity to progress your career and play your part in building a great future for Porirua.
