ROLE SUMMARY:ACG Sunderland is a growing independent, coeducational school from Preschool to Year 13. Located in Henderson, Auckland, our teachers benefit from a highly resourced, contemporary teaching environment and focused students. We prepare our students for a lifetime of learning, equipping them with the academic, sporting, and cultural skills they need to become balanced and independent global citizens.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Teacher Aide for a part-time (15 hours per week) fixed term role, starting in late October 2024. This position is during term time and is to run until the end of the 2025 academic year. The successful applicant must be flexible, committed, and a good team player. They will also have the necessary skills to work successfully with children, parents, staff, and the overall ACG philosophy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide in-class support for the studentsAssist the students to achieve their learning goalsWork co-operatively with the teaching staff and assist them as directedMaintain communication with the teacher about the students so that the teacher may communicate directly with the student's parents/guardiansTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:Previous experience in a similar roleWell-organised with the ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple tasksSAFEGUARDING STATEMENTInspired Education Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment.
