Job Description
Enjoy a 9-day fortnight, whilst living and working in Waihi, the gateway to the stunning Coromandel region. Join our Talent Acquisition team, to help us deliver our growth plans for 2025 and beyond. Work collaboratively with our hiring leads to provide recruitment support for our operational and professional job vacancies.
Maintain a pipeline of entry level mining applicants as we ramp-up gold production in 2025.
Partner with supervisors to identify internal and external candidates for experienced operational & professional mining vacancies.
Proactively source candidates through networking, LinkedIn, Facebook campaigns, and Seek Talent Search.
Develop relationships with New Zealand and Australian Universities to identify potential graduates to join our business.
End to end recruitment, from taking the initial job brief, through to writing job advertisements, shortlisting, pre-employment checks and issuing job offers to successful candidates.
Deliver a high-quality onboarding process to all successful applicants, working closely with the wider People & Culture team.
Identify opportunities for the continuous improvement of the recruitment process.
Qualifications
A degree or equivalent level of education, preferably with Human Resources is preferred but not required.
Minimum 2 years recruitment experience preferably from an internal environment or agency, with sound knowledge of proactive sourcing methodologies.
A full driving license and the ability to drive a manual vehicle.
