Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacher
Subjects: English, Health and Physical Education, Learning Languages, Mathematics and Statistics, Science, Social Sciences, Technology, Te Reo Maori, The Arts.
An exciting opportunity exists for a qualified, enthusiastic teacher for our Y9 supported learning students. With a class size limit of 13, this provides the perfect opportunity to demonstrate your pedagogical skills. Collaboration with other teachers working with these students is essential.
This position would suit an expert in primary/special education.
Annual remuneration is dependent on qualifications and experience and will range from $59,027 to $99,216 in accordance with the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement (STCA). Individuals' actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed. Applicants must hold a teaching qualification as prescribed by NZQA and have a current Practising Certificate, issued by the New Zealand Teachers Council.
