As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a Support Consultant to join our Pacific support team.
In this role, your responsibilities will include (but not limited to): Analysing and understanding client support queries for Pacific clients (NZ, Australia, the Pacific Islands, and the west coast of North America)Discussing queries with clients primarily via email and over the phone (and online chat)Connecting to client systems to assist with problem analysisTroubleshooting issues and proactively identifying potential challenges and providing solutionsEscalating issues to appropriate technical teamsPresenting clients with options or resolutions to queriesDocumenting all aspects of support queriesKeeping informed on all aspects of Tourplan's products and servicesThis role is based in Christchurch, New Zealand although remote work from a major New Zealand city would be considered for the right candidate.
About our ideal candidate… While this is not a technical support or development role, some general technical skills including Excel , SQL querying, XML and familiarity with complex software would be desirable, although not a requirement.Must be willing and able to work in a team environment and also independently.
A strong ability to be flexible, adaptable and organised to manage a busy your workload Excellent written and verbal (English) communication skills are a must.Good communication and relationship building skills to foster trust and connection with our team and customers.A working knowledge of Tourplan within a travel industry role would be a definite advantage!
