Supply Chain Depot Manager – GrenadaBe part of our Grenada Depot Team as the Supply Chain Depot Manager. You will lead and execute the strategic people plan to empower a high performing culture and build capability within the business. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Foodies whanau and work for one of the largest employers in New Zealand.What you're responsible forBe a hands-on leader who leads by example, inspiring and guiding the team through action.Lead and execute the strategic people plan to empower a high performing culture.Ensure safety is always the focus and standards are delivered across all Journey to Zero measures.Lead the daily depot activities based on the distribution of chilled and ambient goods.Ensure the depot is efficiently resourced and maintain operations within budgets.Report, follow up and address all issues that may arise on site, including people, performance, fleet, and safety issues.Implement continuous improvement and simplification strategies, to enhance operations and/or to reduce cost.Be the driving force around our service and guiding operational excellence.Challenge the status quo to drive continuous improvement.Work collaboratively with the wider Supply Chain and Transport Leadership team.Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm with some flexibility as a requirement.What skills and experience you needExperience in Supply Chain and/or FMCG is preferred, but not essential.Proven people leader with the ability to think on your feet and be responsive in a fast-paced environment.Excellent planning and communication skills – both written and verbal.You will be a doer, capable of speedily delivering high volumes of quality work.A willingness to learn, keep an open mind, and strive for continuous improvement.Clear ability to manage safety and wellbeing across all facets of a logistical operation.About FoodiesWe're proud to have a focus on Diversity & Inclusion here at Foodies and welcome applications from you all regardless of who you are or what you do.We also have some great benefits:Competitive salary package including participation in the company superannuation fund.We are big on work-life balance and as such have flexible working opportunities to allow you to get the most out of life!Time off; Additional paid parental leave regardless of gender or of your parental role, birthday leave, long service leave, lifestyle breaks to name a few.We're big on celebrating and social events.Wellbeing support; 5% store discount card, discount at local gyms, wellness room, access to online wellbeing tools and Southern Cross Health Care.If this sounds like the opportunity you've been waiting for, we'd love to hear from you!
