Structured Cabling Engineer Contract in Bishop Auckland
DCS Recruitment currently seeks experienced data cabling engineers in Bishop Auckland on behalf of a national client.
Vacancies: 1
The start will be in the week commencing the 21st Oct.
Duration: 1 x night – ad hoc
Working up to 8 hours on night shifts, starting at 7pm.
Responsibilities and Desired Experience:

Installation of data cabling including pulling, terminating, and testing various structured cabling – CAT5/5E, CAT6/6A, CAT7 – and equipment such as APs and EPOS systems.
Installation of relevant containment in a commercial, retail setting.
Safe provision and use of own hand/power tools, and termination kit.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold a valid CSCS/ECS/Equivalent structured cabling/comms industry related card.
Hold a valid IPAF licence for categories 3a and 3b for cabling at high level.
Have a minimum of 2 years comms industry experience.
Be able to provide relevant work references prior to start.

You must hold a valid UKATA asbestos awareness certificate to be fully compliant for these attendances, though this can be done online prior to start.
