Air New Zealand is looking for a Strategy and Networks Specialist - Network Planning.Sitting in our Strategy and Networks Chapter, this role is responsible for the development and ongoing optimisation of Air New Zealand's capacity plan. Working across multiple Tribes, this role is focused on delivering on Air New Zealand's commercial and operational objectives, with a strong focus on profitability.You will work in a cross-functional squad to:Develop operational capacity plans that deliver on Air New Zealand's commercial and operational objectives.Analyse network improvements and projected impact on revenue and cost, communicating recommendations to senior leaders.Provide timely and accurate planning information, including commentary on key business drivers to enhance decision making and future planning.Monitor and analyze competitor activity, deciphering implications for our network.Develop strong relationships with relevant internal groups for alignment on capacity plans, and ensure sufficient resources are available to deliver proposed schedules.Develop and/or maintain systems to record relevant information for reporting and planning.We are looking for someone with:Experience in an analytical or quantitative role, comfortable using Excel.A self-starter with a curious mind and willingness to learn.A collaborative approach who enjoys working in a team.Strong communication and relationship building skills.At Air New Zealand, we are proudly committed to diversity, equity and inclusion and believe in creating a truly inclusive workplace where everyone can be themselves and thrive.
