Stevedore (Lasher)

We are looking
for a number of Stevedores (Lashers) on a permanent basis. This position is critical in the safe and efficient movement of cargo.
A Lasher is responsible for securing and releasing the equipment on board a ship that secures containers for safe transportation.
This physically demanding position involves heavy lifting and is absolutely key for operations.
What you need :

Having health and safety as a priority
Be physically fit
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, nights and holidays
Good verbal communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team
To follow instructions
Strong work ethic

Experience is not necessary as training will be provided. Along with the above, it is your attitude, willingness to learn and commitment that you need to bring with you.
