About us: We serve students aged 5-21 and are dedicated to enhancing student achievement. We have a central campus and satellite units in Whangarei, providing a dynamic and supportive environment for both students and staff.
Position available: A permanent, full-time position available at our Central Campus, Monday to Friday (could be negotiated to 0.8).
The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position are set by the Primary Teachers' Collective Agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $61,329 to $103,086, depending on the applicant's qualifications and experience. Individual's actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
Location: The position is at our Whangarei base, in the Middle area of the school, starting term 1, 2025.
The ideal applicant will have:
Prior experience with special needs teaching
An ability to collaborate with colleagues across disciplines
Strong written and oral communication skills
Effective team leadership and parent/caregiver interaction skills
Flexibility, a sense of humour, and strong organisational skills
