Solutions Architect We are looking for a skilled Solution Architect to lead technology initiatives for a well-known New Zealand company driving innovation in Auckland's economic and cultural development.
This permanent full-time position is located in the heart of Auckland, offering a hybrid working environment.
Your key role will involve promoting strategic objectives by employing innovative technology design approaches and utilizing solution architecture frameworks for a variety of digital and technology projects.
In this role, you will: Design and implement secure, scalable, and efficient digital and technology solutions to tackle business challenges and meet strategic objectives.
Translate technical concepts into actionable architectural designs and recommend optimal integrations.
Review projects for compliance with architectural standards, documenting solutions and ensuring alignment with SDLC processes.
Champion enterprise-level solutions to improve operational efficiency and quality across digital services.
Provide insights into server basics, storage capacity, and memory considerations to ensure comprehensive understanding across projects.
Key Skills and Experience: Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including expertise in end-to-end or enterprise architecture, as well as on-premises & cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, SaaS/PaaS solutions).
Proficiency in architecture modeling (UML, SysML) and familiarity with tools like Visio, and frameworks such as TOGAF and SOA.
Experience with integration patterns, API gateways, and protocols (SOAP, REST, JSON), along with programming languages such as SQL, Python, and Java.
Understanding of web applications, digital platforms (e.g., Salesforce CRM, ERP), and data lakes (Azure) is a plus.
Knowledge in PCI, GDPR, and architecture frameworks are advantageous.
