About the role: As a Software Specialist in the Payments platform, you'll be responsible for developing and supporting solutions related to our Payments platform and mentoring junior developers.

We are looking for an individual who can work independently and provide guidance to growing developers.
You are pragmatic and design effective solutions.
You can document and present your technical designs to a wide range of audience.
You have the ability and drive to deliver Card Payment change through to the production environment.
You will be given opportunities to extend your sphere of influence beyond your squad to other squads and platforms, both to share your knowledge and experience and to extend it by drawing on the knowledge and experience of others.
You will work collaboratively with our squads and stakeholders to be the voice of engineering and deliver products that delight our customers.
We are looking for someone who has: 10+ years of software engineering experience 3+ years of experience in the card Payments industry.
Expertise in C#, .NET and/or .NET Core Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines.
Docker/K3s Good understanding and experience of working using Agile principles.
Experience on test estimating, negotiating and prioritizing of work.
Mentoring/ guiding on standards and best practices.
In addition, the following would be an advantage: Experience of Windows web server infrastructure MVC/Frontend SSL Certificate Management Integration Working experience in Cloud technologies.
