About the roles:
You will have the opportunity to get hands-on with some interesting and complex pieces of work on an enterprise scale, all while being part of a squad that makes their own decisions about how to work through prioritisation - so your voice will be heard, and your opinions valued. You will also be expected to provide on-call support (must) when rostered on for the week.
The team is self-sufficient, and you will have to engage directly with stakeholders and communicate their requirements back to the team. We are now looking for a mix of technical skills and aptitude, including some of the following:
Good experience in .Net/Python/Perl
Analysis and Application Support - SFTP
Mentoring and uplifting squad capability
Comfortable working in a highly regulatory environment
About you:
Willingness to learn, proven initiative, knowledge sharing, documentation skills, problem solving abilities, and leadership skills are what we look for in every engineer to lead from their position.
With regards to background, you will need the following capabilities:
Software Skill in (.Net, Perl, Python)
Axway SFTP and MFT
Experience in SQL developer query and coding
Experience in Banking batch jobs and transfers
Experience in server and application patching
Experience in high availability systems and applications F5 VCS load balancers DMZ Gws
In addition, any of the following would be a huge bonus:
Experience working within Agile and DevOps frameworks.
Standardising and automating support tasks
Setting up monitoring, alerting, and reporting
Certificate implementation and management
Experience with CI/CD systems (e.g., TFS, GitHub, Octopus, Azure DevOps)
