We are currently looking for a Software Development Engineer to join our Payroll development team, based in Auckland, New Zealand. About the RoleWrite and maintain solid, robust, efficient and maintainable code using Workday's Object Oriented framework and tools.Write reliable unit, integration, and system level tests that will run on our continuous delivery pipeline.Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver features in the Workday Payroll product.Mentor and learn from other team members through pairing, code reviews, knowledge shares, hackathons, etc.About YouBasic Qualifications 2+ years' design and development experience in an object oriented language such as Java, C#, or similar.Other Qualifications You have 2+ years' experience developing performant, scalable and resilient applications.You possess a good understanding and appreciation of test automation principles.Experience with payroll solutions.You are a problem solver who is motivated by successfully delivering new features and functionality to users.You have familiarity with what is required to craft, build, test, and supervise a business critical software solution in production.Knowledge of XML and Integration technologies.You have a passion for code quality!You like working on an agile team.Our Approach to Flexible WorkWith Flex Work, we're combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
