Job Description:
The Software .Net Architect works hands-on to envision and lead the implementation of short- and long-term strategy for enterprise-class web applications for hosted systems and is primarily centered around mid-tier business logic and back-end data management in a .NET and MS SQL Server stack. He/she will work with an established team of .NET and front-end developers to enhance our existing platform, create new platforms, and help drive continued development. The Architect will see opportunities to work with cross-functional and cross-geographic team members.
Critical Job Duties:
Play a key leadership role in the architecture, design, implementation, and maintenance of a set of ASP.Net-based enterprise applications and services.
Lead developers in strategic initiatives to keep the application framework current with technology trends.
Work with stakeholders, product owners, and others to develop and document requirements, designs, and implementation plans for new features and applications.
Work with the engineering and quality engineer team to develop creative, functional, maintainable applications, services and components.
Review code of developers and take full responsibility for overall quality, to keep them on track, mentor them as needed to write high quality, re-usable code following industry best practices.
Perform design/code reviews and help maintain code quality, performance, and application responsiveness.
Work on projects of moderate to advanced complexity.
Keep skills up-to-date with current and future software technologies through continued education and self-learning to ensure maximum functionality and efficiency.
Collaborate both in the team and cross-functionally, and contribute in group decision-making.
Assist & mentor junior, mid-tier, and senior engineers.

Candidate Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position has strong C# and .Net skills and experience. He/she is passionate about crafting solid code working alongside their team members to predictably deliver value. Said candidate will be curious and constantly looks to advance the current state of our products and the technologies we use.
Qualifications:
15+ years of experience in IT Industry.
Experience and demonstrated proficiency in .Net, C#, Entity Framework, and Microsoft SQL Server.
Demonstrated success in leading teams of three or more developers to design, build, deploy, and maintain large web applications.
Extensive experience with application architecture and demonstrated understanding of Algorithms, Data Structures, Object Oriented Design, Databases (SQL/NoSQL).
Experience with RESTful Web Service Design.
Experience working in an Agile team environment is preferred.
Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a software related discipline or equivalent experience is preferred.
The ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment, with strong problem-solving skills.
Cross-department collaboration and leadership skills.
Experience with Azure, AWS or other Cloud-based PaaS/SaaS environments.
