Social sciences teacher
Whangarei Boys High School is seeking to add an enthusiastic teacher to join our collaborative social sciences team. The ideal applicant would have the ability to teach junior social studies with the ability to teach senior geography, develop curriculum activities, demonstrate initiative, and work as part of a team. Student centered learning, relational teaching skills, and a growth mindset are essential.

Applicants should be highly motivated, with a commitment to high standards of achievement in a progressive boys' school environment.

Annual remuneration is dependent on qualifications and experience and will range from $59,027 to $99,216 in accordance with the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement (STCA). Individuals' actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.

The position will commence 28 January 2025.
